You shouldn’t miss the Botanical Gardens which are the oldest in the world. Este is a picturesque town, encircled by historic stone walls and watchtowers, pause for a Venetian aperitif in the town square. Lovers of the countryside will be overwhelmed by the varied beauty of the Euganean Hills which rise up to 600 metres, wonderful for a day hiking.
